Non-O to Non-B possible now in thailanad?

This morning one of my friends told me that because of covid now we can change our non-o (wife) to non-b (work) at CW immigration.

i was wondering if this is true or not. If its true, wife should come to the immigration or not.

You cannot change non immigrant visa categories at immigration. The only way to do that is to leave and re-enter the country.

You can apply for  a extension of stay based uon working with a non-o visa or another category of non immigrant visa. Only a non immigrant visa is required to apply for a extension.
