MANILA, Philippines — Manila mayor and presidential aspirant Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said he will give the Department of Information and Communications Technology more teeth to address the proliferation of pornographic materials in the country if he wins in the May polls.

 

In an interview with television host Boy Abunda, Moreno said he will make social media sites responsible for allowing improper behavior on their platforms.

 

“Technically, I’ll block their IP address. I’ll make DICT a powerful agency to go after these corporations, to go after these websites,” he said, adding he will also reach out to digital wallet companies and banks.
