Sanook Thai Caption: (He) left the vehicle at the scene

Mystery surrounds a late night incident in Huay Kapi sub-district of Muang district Chonburi after a concert featuring bands and Mor Lam singers, reported Sanook.

Samed police were called at 3.40 am after a man aged about 60 was found with multiple broken bones.

Nearby was an abandoned Toyota Commuter van with a tour company sticker in the rear.

There were bloodsatins on the left front wheel of the van.

No one had seen what happened. Staff were packing the stage away.

But "Ek" said that the driver of the van had said: "I don't know what I just went over".

The van driver then hurriedly got in a Mercedes Benz driven by another person and left the scene.

Rescue official Sarawut said the victim had multiple injuries.

Locals thought the victim was a man living nearby who had got very drunk and passed out in the now deserted and unlit area.

They think the van went over him unaware he was there.

Police are contacting the tour company to get a lead and hope to be able to locate the dead man's relatives.

That's not puzzling at all.

"Man run over by van, driver stays at the scene and collaborates with police in investigation" - now that would be puzzling...

What time is curfew?

Curfew? That ended sometime ago. Bars have to close 11PM, but general curfew's not been around for some time now.
