webfact Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Picture: INN INN reported that a dealer in second hand goods out scavenging on Tha Phaya beach in Pak Phanang district of Nakhon Sri Thammarat found a large piece of metal believed to be part of an aircraft. It is 1.8 meters wide, 3.16 meters long weighing about 70-80 kgs. It has the number CCBU 07ZS in many places. There is evidence of burn marks in two places. Local kamnan Pramote Reuangdit said that air experts had said they were 80% sure it was part of some kind of aircraft but precisely what is not yet known. Picture: INN It is being stored at a bank's facilities ahead of a detailed examination. Fore Man Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Methinks it can’t be from MH370 because this piece was found in the Gulf of Thailand and thus separated from the suspected crash site of MH370 in the far south of the Indian Ocean by the Malaysian peninsular landmass. That is, unless all the experts are wrong about the calculated track of the missing airliner. If this part-numbered piece can be traced to MH370, assuming that the Thai Government provides the data to Malaysian authorities, it would change everything conjectured about its final resting place. 1

impulse Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Half a dozen dive resorts I've visited, they sank an old aircraft in shallow water for people to dive on. That's a lot more likely than a part from any specific crash.
