Employer fails to provide proof of wage tax withholding - recourse?

Recommended Posts

After several email and written inquires, the employer has failed to provide standard proof of having paid wage withholding taxes.  This documentation is necessary to file a Thailand tax return by the April 1, 2022 deadline.  What recourse does the employee have?

Obvious, take your tax number and enquire/report at the tax office.

Assume you also have payslips or monthly monetary deposits in your bank account from the employer to show the tax office the bank statements.

You could also take your previous year tax return if you have one with its documentation to show tax office.
