A Thai woman has turned to the Paveena Hongsakul foundation for help in getting justice after she was attacked by her ex husband.

He threw a flask full of acid in "Neung's" face in an ambush back in September 2021.

Neung was splattered in the face and neck area.

Two men sped away on motorcycles.

Neung has been lured to a quiet area of Ban Pong on the pretext of signing a loan deal.

Her attacker disguised by clothes and helmet turned out to be her ex husband with whom she had refused to reconcile.

They had two daughters together who up until Paveena's interest in the case from January were with the father, the lady's attacker.

Now the Nong Prue, Pattaya, police are finally getting their act together with a charge of assault causing grievous bodily harm, reported Daily News.

Neung suffered multiple complications from her injuries as a result of the acid attack.

The news reports likened her fate to being burned alive but still being alive.

She spent 3 months in hospital after the attack on September 21st.

An attack that robbed the pretty 31 year old of her looks and her health.

Acid attacks have to be the most vile form of revenge out there. If there is any justice, her coward of an ex-husband should never taste freedom again.

And yet another angry and violent Thai "man" who can't deal with a little thing called LIFE. Only surprise here is that he didn't murder her outright. These infantile, unstable pea-brains are brought up this way in Asia and especially here in Thailand. Male child-rearing ways here need an complete overhaul. :post-4641-1156693976:

you completely miss the point when you describe this as a 'thai man' problem. it is a human problem. people do this in many countries, usually a man, but women also.

Me too, but way more concerned with permanent closures of establishments that violate ridiculous covidiocy restrictions or arresting folks who start growing ganga a few days early. Pathetic.

in the year leading up to March 2020 there were 619 crimes committed in the UK where corrosive substances were used – a 37% increase since 2017. Mostly gang related.

Attacked in September 2021... what in gods name are the police thinking?

He apparently did not want anyone to have her outward beauty if he could not have the eye-candy himself.  He forgot that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and many woman have an inner beauty about them no matter what......

A very British crime..

Not just in the UK, it is a world wide issue.  Happens in India, The US and many other locales unfortunately.  Men thinking they own a woman and her outward appearance are just demented sick and psychotic .

Being burned then.

Unless there's a lot more to this story, she'll have a hard time proving the attacker was her ex-hubby. ????

Must be a recently imported problem, unheard of when I was growing up in Scotland in the 80's and early 90's. ????
