In Zambasulta dialogue, Moreno promises 'no war' in Mindanao if elected

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso assured his Mindanao supporters on the Thursday that there will be no more war in the region is he is elected president.

This as his supporters vowed not to switch support to any candidate in the face of the latest Pulse Asia survey showing him tailing at a far third spot from Vice President Leni Robredo, who is herself behind presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

"I assure you there will be no war under my administration," Dumagoso told the Muslim leaders and supporters from the Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi in a dialogue on Thursday.
