Bang Plee police in Samut Prakan went to the Khajorn housing estate in their jurisdiction after reports of two stabbings.

At building #39 they found Kitti, 23, with multiple stab wounds.

He had tried to save his mother from a stabbing attack in her room on the first floor.

Inside the room and covered in blood was 53 year old Jeeraphan who was stabbed 7 times. She was dead.

A fruit paring knife of 10 cms length was recovered.

The son was taken to Bang Na 5 hospital, reported Daily News.

At the scene were the victim's daughter - A aged 14 - and her boyfriend - B aged 16.

B had arrived and been told to wait in the kitchen. When A gave the signal he armed himself with a knife and attacked her mother.

Her elder brother tried to stop it before the police arrived.

A said it was all her idea because her mother was trying to prevent her seeing B.

She said she had mental health issues.

Both are now in custody after social and youth services were contacted.

' She said she had mental health issues '.  Every day there is a punch up appearing on here , domestic ,vehicle related and always someone has mental health issues.. I suppose if I got knocked off of my bike and I retaliated I would have mental heath issues. Some folk do think I'm silly because I'm not quite right though isn't it.

Ah, the pleading of 'mental health' issues rears its ugly head to get off with a lighter sentence again. Probably a solicitors idea of a good plan

I agree and the scarey thing is you see it in the news here fairly regularly.

Iron Maiden without seat. Very medieval!

Or 1.5m square box with toilet hole and not enough room to ever lie straight or sit up. And a slow cold water leak dead center.

Solitary and silent confinement. Never a word. Never a sound, but your movements on the cement walls and the slop tray sliding in once a day.

Two unrelated stabbings in Samut Prakan on the same day? Crossing the area from my travel list....

More seriously, more people may lose it later this year, if predicted food shortage really happen. The optimist in me thinks it may not be too bad in Thailand, since most of the food is grown locally.

Maybe because, if true, she has mental problems and also because she is 14

They see it as a ' Get out of jail free card ' it's very much the same these days in the UK.

Makes PERFECT sense!
In a modern society BLM!
"B's" Life Matters!

Unbelievable that "A's" mum didnt get it.

Now probably you will understand why you find these kids on the streets at night. It is to dangerous for parents to tell they can not.  For once a mother with brains and she had to pay a huge price. Rest In Peace. In many countries she would get away with it as she is still a minor. I guess Thailand is different.

I was thinking more that he's he's kind of guy that would kill his girlfriend's mother just because she asked him to. She may have got some negative vibes from him.

No doubt about that, goes for the 16 year old too.

Digging your own hole before being tipped into it.

My policy would always be to break their knees so they spend the rest of their life in a wheelchair. In Thailand, that would make them pretty much housebound with a real life sentence.

And we're always being told that Thai families are so close. Has as much truth to it as TAT figures.

No, welcome to Bang Plee, Samut Prakan, it looks like that's where the murders take place.

Without knowing much about the backstory on this incident it appears that Thailand sure is one ****ed up country ????

Stone cold killer at 14 years old.  Lock her (and the BF) up and lose the key

first thing that comes to mind was there money or inheritance involved ,

the spoilt kids are wrapped up in cotton wool and they let them play with toy guns knives  , treated like indestructible gods .. all has knock on effect in later life

Being kept alive in a 6 by 4 cell for the rest of your life (in this case probably 56 years or more), never seeing the world again, subjected to rigorous and severe discipline.

I believe that many middle eastern states consider life imprisonment inhumane torture. Death is often a blessed release from physical or mental anguish, you only have to ask a cancer sufferer.
