NokYai611
I bought a Covid policy ($100,000) which expires 3 October - but I need duration through 30 January 2023 for another trip. Can I purchase another policy to extend coverage through 30 Jan 2023 and provide the 2 insurance certificates for entry? I am not sure I can upload 2 certificates. i can’t seem to find answer and phone calls go unanswered thus far. Thanks
BritTim
I assume you are aware that there is no legal requirement for Covid insurance other than for 30 days on entry into Thailand. Thus, if arriving before September 3rd, you do not need a new policy to get a Thailand Pass. Since any additional insurance you choose to acquire is not subject to any oversight, you have nothing to worry about.
monsieurhappy
I may be way behind with information here but I was under the impression that when entering Thailand a foreigner needs covid insurance up until their visa needs extending? Sorry if this is out of context but I've not been following matters as I have virtually given up on leaving the country this year. Any information to bring me up to date would be appreciated!
anchadian
30 days of Covid insurance will suffice regardless of when your visa expires. https://tqm-app.com/static/thailandpass/detail-ta-fwdgi.html
