mark5335
My doc in Bangkok recently prescribed Pletaal pills (Cilostazol) for a blood circulation issue (recurring blue toe syndrome) that I experienced earlier this year. I discovered today that Boots Pharmacy just increased the price to 300 baht per blister strip (10 pills) which only lasts 5 days. So I'm wondering wether any members or moderators could suggest a cheaper generic alternative available in Thailand. Thanks
Sheryl
Pletaal is an import so expensive. Locally made Thai brands are: Bestazol Cilosol Citazol It may need a fairly large pharmacy to source it though. Boots is never a good option for meds as they have limited range and all at highest prices. Go to a regular Thai pharmacy. SC Drugstore on Rama Iv between Silom and Surawong is a good option, so is Southeast Pharmacy oin Sukhumvit around Soi 15 (approximately) and Rung Rote pharmacy on Sukhumvit 77 (On Nut) - about 1200 meters in from Sukhumviut on the right hand side
mark5335
Thanks Sheryl, I'll try South East Pharmacy which is a bit closer to home.
