MANILA, Philippines — Opposition coalition 1Sambayan, which backs the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo, has endorsed the senatorial run of actor and athlete Monsour del Rosario for the 2022 elections. 

 

1Sambayan convenor and former Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio Carpio made the announcement on Friday during a media forum in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

 

This comes two weeks after Del Rosario shifted his support to Vice President Leni Robredo for president, explaining that her mission aligns with his goals of bringing "real positive change" in the lives of Filipinos.
