Thailand seems to do most of its burning earlier in the season. Fires now are mostly from Laos. 2

Popular Post Will B Good Posted April 12, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 12, 2022 Can't see the 'mountains' less than a kilometer away.......6x the WHO healthy limit here. But glad to see the situation is being closely monitored. (That guy must have fought in every war for the last 20 years....or was he caught on his way out to a fancy dress party?) 4

Popular Post Aussieroaming Posted April 12, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 12, 2022 Once again Thailand refuses to accept responsibility for their share of the burn offs. Sure other countries are burning off fields as well, but that doesn't mitigate Thailand's personal burn off response. Add the millions of diesel engines belching smoke and fumes and its mighty unpleasant here at times. 3
thenewgoo Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 Chiang Mai only has 'green' air when it is raining - which fortunately has been unseasonably happening this year. As soon as rain stops, and things dry out, the new fires start up again.
