Myanmar man arrested for filming in the toilets of department store in Bangkok

Sanook reported Sunday that Huay Khwang police got involved after a woman claimed she was filmed in the ladies' toilets at a well known department store on Rachadaphisek Road, downtown Bangkok.

 

The police managed to trace the suspect to Rachada Soi 4.

 

Modi, 23, admitted everything. He used to work in a restaurant but was now out of work. He'd been drinking beer with some friends when he went to the ladies' armed with his phone.

 

Police said they found 50 clips of six victims all filmed on one day.

Modi, from Myanmar, was charged with offences related to indecency with minors aged over 15. 

 

The victim said she'd been having a coffee with friends when she went to the loo and got suspicious on seeing a shadow outside her cubicle.

 

She looked over and screamed after she saw a man filming.
