webfact Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 PHOTO: .naewna By Goong Nang(GN) Chonburi – Hundreds of durians worth more than 500,000 baht scattered all over a roadside after a pickup truck overturned in the Ban Bueng district yesterday morning (April 25th). Chonburi police were notified of the accident on Number 344 Road in Ban Bueng. They arrived at the scene to find an overturned brand new pickup truck on the side of the road. No injuries, however, were reported. Hundreds of durians were found scattered nearby. Lacessit Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Most probably overloaded as usual. I sometimes see pickups here, if they got a gust of wind from the side, over they would go.
brianthainess Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 A one ton truck, piled high with 3.5 tons, seen all the time whether Durian, logs, etc I'm surprised its not a daily occurrence, there seems to be no law on overloading small trucks.

Just a bit Picture taken last week: I arrived at the scene near Phan just after an overloaded pickup had overturned with a load of pigs. Funniest thing I've seen for a long time, locals trying to catch pigs who did not want to be there.
