transferring money to Thailand from Canada

What is the best method to transfer funds from Canada to Thailand?

 

Also what is the best account to put money in to sit as the 800,000?

Xe.com  Good exchange rates, no extra fees.  Takes about a week.  Deposit to any major bank in Thailand. Been using Xe for years, encountered no issues.

Kasikorn has a good mobile app that I prefer over Bangkok Banks app.

Of the 2 or 3 banks that offer better interest rates, I prefer SCB which offers the EZ Savings account that is currently paying 1.5% on the first 1M ฿.
