I have 2 birds houses on the facade of my house and they have been visited a lot of times for a birds nest.

But lately, I find regularly hatchlings laying dead on the ground which have been kicked out of the nest.

Does anybody knows which bird is kicking the hatchlings out of the nest and how to get rid of them?

TIA

Possibly the Asian Koel - Cuckoo.

Do you occasionally hear an annoyingly loud "Gow-wow" bird call?

(Thais name it "Nok Gow-Wow).

The call starts at a medium pitch and gets louder and louder and higher and higher.

I have one around my house. I have a device for scaring him/her off:

Yes, I hear frequently the sound that you describe.
But I never saw the bird.

They are fairly big and black. I have trouble spotting them sometimes, so I just aim at the noise and then see them fly off.

get a cat...

I have two:

Neither of them can be bothered to run up trees 30 feet to catch a bird - too well fed.

But occasionally the female will "play" with one:

This one eventually flew off.
