The breakaway MPs from the ruling Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) are not pulling their punches any longer when it comes to addressing their former party, if the latest developments are anything to go by.

 

Over the weekend, the Sang Anakot Thai Part, openly criticised the government’s draft fiscal budget which will be debated in parliament between Tuesday and Thursday.

The party, led by former finance minister Uttama Savanayana and former energy minister Sonthirat Sontijirawong, who were thrown out of PPRP by Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan’s takeover, said there are at least eight points of concern over the draft bill.

I hope the Government will be dissolved...Too much money for the military, too much money for the rich and too less for the people who need it..Economy is on hold for many years already and there need is a need for a new young Govrnment with a view for the future instead of keeping everything in the 19th century.. PPRP losing allies and friends 

 

If my wife keeps making the Pprp sounds  whilst watching the TV, she's going to lose allies, friends and a husband !

Looks like CP and the other rich families have finally had enough of Prayut and his band of followers, change is in the air (about 7 years later than it should have happened but better late than never!).

The cracks are widening and those non-swimmers are starting to look for a safer ship to sail in.

But what needs to happen is to  get rid of the 'old guard', ancient, mentally failing, blinkered, corrupt and fixed in their ways of cronyism and nepotism, and simply old fashioned.
