June 5, 20224 yr I am looking for a weekend trip from Pattaya to Chanthaburi. I don’t have a car, and would prefer not to use a taxi. i assume that a transfer in Rayong would be involved.
June 5, 20224 yr There are mini-buses set off from various spots... a few of the Travel Agents in Soi 13./2 (Post Office) could perhaps help, the ones who do trips to Koh Chang. I see a minibus service leaves from behind Numchai on Sukhumvit, opposite the Lotus car park. May have to change buses.
June 5, 20224 yr If you have time, stop by the Phet Prasert bus station on Sukhunvit, according to the web the can help you. https://www.thailandee.com/en/transportation-thailand/bus/buses-from-pattaya-to-chanthaburi https://www.google.com/maps/place/Phetprasert+(Pattaya)/@12.9392899,100.9030069,3a,44.1y,121.69h,102.12t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sirfNq4ZeJ-hL2YLaYx4Udw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x0:0x554689d49c1001db!2zMTLCsDU2JzIxLjEiTiAxMDDCsDU0JzExLjIiRQ!3b1!8m2!3d12.9391811!4d100.9030968!3m4!1s0x310295f737cf80e7:0x79c52c9b9af0b1f8!8m2!3d12.9391996!4d100.9032568

We used this service during a Covid lull. Seatbelts mandatory on the minibus and excellent drivers, it took about 3 hours without stops or changes. Good place for a mini-break with plenty to see and do both sides of the river. Edited June 5, 20224 yr by champers
