Non Imm O Extension

Featured Replies

im due to renew my non imm o marriage visa extension in sept.i previously did it showing 400k in the bank.i want to do it now showing proof of 40k a mth family income.my wife owns a business and just want to clarify how to clarify the income ie what proofs do immigration require?

Believe they want to see the figure from last years tax returns currently but perhaps someone who has processed recently can provide details and office they used.

They certainly want to see the latest ถ.ง.ด. 90 or 91 of the couple for the last tax year and the last 3 months of the ถ.ง.ด. 1 form.

Is it actually possible to get a Non-O renewal if the Thai wife is the only income earner and husband has no WP? I know that 'combined' income is OK.

But why give up the 400K bank book option if you are already in the system? Going this route is much easier and less documents are required. And you won't be able to revert back to the 400K option later if need be.

Yes, it is. From National Police Order 606/2549, paragraph 7.17:

(6) In case of the applicant who is married to a Thai wife, one of them or both of them need to have the total annual income that is averaged out not less than 40,000 Baht per month.
