With this in mind a host of officials headed by Bangkok Metropolitan Authority advisor Pol Gen Adit Ngamjitsuksri went to Silom Soi 4 and Patpong in Bang Rak.

He was joined by Bang Rak district officials, local police, firemen, rescue services, the military and excise officials.

Top of their priorities was to ensure that Covid protocols including vaccinations for staff were all being followed and 12 pm ending for the serving of alcohol was being observed.

They were also checking that fire and other safety considerations were all in place for the benefit of tourists.

The aim is to get everything back to normal as soon as possible after the pandemic.

I wonder if the ping pong balls were checked for cleanliness?

When you play the game the right way, you don't have to touch the ball.
