ricklev
Anyone know of a shop at Pantip that can install ink tanks on my Canon printer? I'm not sure what is left there these days after their attempt at rebranding. Any printer repair shop can probably do it. I live close to Pantip but can go to Fortune Town if I have to, so please let me know of a shop you recommend there also. Thanks.

OneMoreFarang
As far as I know Pantip is dead. Just go to Fortune and don't waste any time in that has been place.

Then they would only do it to more expensive printers. Now there's no point at all as the printer manufacturers are making their own ink tank printers that are far superior, with everything built-in and properly itegrated, rather than being sellotaped on like they did in the past in the IT malls. Yes, they cost more, but the ink is affordable and the quality great. The dodgy Canon inks they used to sell in Pattaya always ended up blocking the print head within anything from 3 months to a year, then you had to pay 800 Baht+ for a new print head plus cartridge. After checking what little was available in Pattaya last year, I ended up buying this one from Lazada, an HP Ink Tank 315 and I'm happy with it, though the paper-loading for duplex printing is a bit quirky. Print quality is excellent and filling the ink tanks is simple and clean using their own ink bottles, never a spilt drop: 3
