webfact
Bangkok’s social media has been rife with questions and comments, both yesterday and today (Saturday) about a popular Japanese restaurant chain which suddenly closed down without notice, raising concerns among customers who have pre-paid vouchers to eat there. The uproar started on Facebook after messages were posted raising questions about the sudden disappearance of the Japanese restaurant’s Facebook page. The “Buffet Lovers” page was swamped with questions and criticism. Others said that they had personally visited restaurant outlets and found they were all closed, with a sign saying no service due to server breakdown and offering an apology. Popular Post Excel
Well at least the illegally caught Tuna and dolphins caught by the Japanese may breath a sigh of relieve, but guess those caught around Fukushima will just have to be sold elsewhere now with a glowing recommendation

Popular Post Thailand
Here in Chiang Mai we have just heard that the second mall in as many months is closing down. The government has left everything too late and no doubt many more closures to come.

CLW
Company owner supposedly made a runner to Dubai. All planned in my opinion. Restaurant survived mainly on selling vouchers / coupons for which you can make a reservation. Almost no walk in customer. Interestingly, the price of coupons was reduced again to 199 baht just a few days before the strange closure. Thai social media said the franchise had no HR or corporate office. Supplier of their salmon claims 30 million unpaid bills.

Maybe he was expecting mummy and daddy to pick him up at arrival and let them sort out everything ????
