In a few years they will have a guy doing it from Hemp and reducing costs drastically. They always go into the oven within days here at the temples anyway, so great solution.

 

Even better if they could use the leftovers on the fields they burn to form into some building material.

3500 baht, approx. $100 bucks USD, can you even imagine what that would cost in the US?  Of course it's really cheaply made, but if it's just going in the oven, who cares?
