Sanook reported that Pol Maj-Gen Amnat Traiphot of the railway police announced that a repair vehicle train (IMV) on the Red Line between Bang Sue and Rangsit in northern Bangkok had been attacked.

Driver Saran Kuna told Don Muang police that he had suffered a hand injury and many other staffers had been slightly hurt by flying glass.

He believed a person on a motorcycle in the area of Viphavadee Rangsit Soi 33 had fired at least three nuts and marbles at the train from a slingshot.

Police investigating think the person responsible was an "exuberant kid".

Just last week someone fired something at a train window from a light controlled pedestrian rail  crossing near me in the UK. The window was smashed and a 9 moth old baby was injured by broken glass. Railways are very vulnerable to vandals
