Present situation at Suvarnabhumi airport

Are there any delays at the airport related to checking in (domestic flight).

My last domestic was on July 4 (Monday).

Check in at ThaiSmile air was quick/easy (2 hours ahead).

Then being hit by an unusual flight delay of 1.5 hours (planned 2:40 PM).

No long queues at domestic pre-check and safety check. All Covid measures gone except mask. I read that they now even restart some meal/snack/drink service.

I would not expect an unusual delay tomorrow (no special days/holidays etc.).

What airline? What time of day?

Four hours for >domestic<?

Wow, that really sounds over the top.

But don't hold me responsible if things have worsened so much.

International is a different matter.

Thanks for feedback, will be flying Thai Smile in the evening with hotel mentioning to be at the airport 4 hours before departure.

Wow...  4 hours !!!... The hotel are clearly covering their own backsides without giving any consideration to the value of your time.

For international flights I arrive at the Airport 2 hours before departure (I’m flying out of Suvarnabumbumi about 8 times year year).

I haven’t flown domestic for about a year... I allowed about 1.5 hours then and it was fine.

IF I was taking a domestic flight with my family, I’d plan to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours before the flight.
