Sanook Thai Caption: They must make an appeal to the thieves

Sanook reported that the owner of a beauty clinic in Muang district of Udon Thani is so fed up with repeated burglaries that they have put up a sign for the thieves begging for relief.

"Please would you mind leaving the air-conditioners next time".

The Phaya Clinic has been hit ten times in three months the latest being last week.

This despite the fact that the shop is supposed to be under the protection of Royal Thai Police chief Gen Suwat Chaengyodsuk's much vaunted Smart Safety Zone 4.0 crime busting system.

Critics of the system have said it is little more than glorified CCTV rather than an innovation in community policing as claimed by the top brass.

Nadol, 29, the owner has called the police multiple times but they have proven to be completely useless.

They are even saying rude, facetious and unhelpful things according to the owner such as:

""Why do you keep calling us - are you a call center?"

They are a bunch of useless Muppets no doubt waiting for the business to cross their palms with the usual envelopes stuffed with...
