Pattaya City launched a new campaign yesterday, July 19th, to organize homeless people and attempt to integrate them back into society.

Pattaya deputy mayor Wuttisak Rueimkitkan presided over an event on Tuesday to launch a new campaign aimed at organizing Pattaya’s homeless population.

According to the deputy, this operation was in accordance with the 2016 Control of Begging Act. The deputy said that he received a good collaboration from the Chonburi Homeless Protection Center that helped him successfully raise this campaign. Initially, the deputy directed two groups of city officials to search for nomads around Pattaya Beach Road and Pattaya Second Road and assisted them with documental matters as a first step to integrate them back into society.
