mcfan
I have no idea of the locations of motorcycle shops in Bangkok. Are they grouped next to each other , or is there an easy way to locate them. An area i should look for example. Sky train stop Or Bus station terminal, Morcit ,Ekkamai or Sth. I am looking for a large motorcycle must have the all important green book and be legal for Thailand. Honda CB750 or Steed 600cc, Kawa Zephyr 650,750,900. just to name a few. Not the cafe racer style of sports bike. Any help would be great. Recomendations good and bad dealers as well

mark lamai
if you have time to go window shopping. head over taksin bridge (krung thonburi rd) a few kilms up at the first intersection on your left is a yard with a number of larger bikes. then turn right down to Wong Wiang Yai roundabout, go up Phetkasem rd. turn right into Charan Sanitwong rd, along there after 1klm approx are a lot of bike shops, quite a few with bigger bikes, but from japan, nothing too exotic. most i believe are imported as knock-downs from japan. lost_in_space
the best way to get to the shops on Srinakarin is to go out New Petburi and turn right at Srinakarin, they're both on the left. There's also one shop on the northwest corner of Klong Tan intersection. Nice guy owns the place and will tell you if the paperwork is dodgy (at least, he told me).
