The government has decided not to declare monkeypox a ‘serious communicable disease’ while health authorities say they are confident they can contain the virus by increasing surveillance procedures.

 

Meanwhile Twenty-seven people who came into contact with an infected man from Nigeria tested negative for Monkeypox yesterday. 

 

Bangkok's governor will today discuss ways that tourist related business can look out for visitors that may be infected.

 

Medical specialists say antibodies are not effective at preventing infection of the new strain of Covid 19, BA.5.
