Hey Hammers...hows your finger nails? :o

Fine! How's yours. There is more chance of Thaksin becoming Thailand's Prime Minister at the next election than Sheffield Utd replacing WHUFC as a premiership side 2007/8. In fact I'm hoping we get a refund or better still fine McCabe the same amount for wasting everybody's time. :D

Good to hear that, I thought you might be a little bit worried. I saw the reports and McCabe seemed very confident of the outcome. Only another week or so to wait then. My nails are fine by the way, I have no particular fondness for Sheff utd but they are local and as such I would prefer they did well.

Saw a pic of McCabe on the BBC..looks like spike Milligan.

I think he has to put up a good front for the shareholders as there's a lot of money involved. However the delay looks worse for Sheff U as the time between a possible new arbitration panel sitting (very unlikely)and a reversal would be time consuming and probably couldn't be done between now and the beginning of the season. Also a West Ham appeal against a contrived relegation would create further chaos. So I can't see it happening. I don't even see any financial compensation coming their way just a pledge to act clear up this area of transfers involving third parties and make it more transparent. What is depressing is the whole media circus and misinformation surrounding the case. As for Sheffield U I don't think they have covered themselves in glory with their antics, either and this might cause problems for the next season in the fizzy. As for us I hope we now have enough money not to depend on these kinds of deals involving agents and loans. It's enough to make you nostalgic for the old dodgy chairman in the camel hair coat and Jag. :o

I don't quite know why you think that there's any chance of us being deducted the points ? I have already explained to you that this was not a question an points deduction, but whether the PL acted fairly. Truth is that all MCbaby is only interested in the money. And there is a chance that Sheff Utd will be compensated. But MCbaby has now got to worry over a little matter concerning the sale of Steve Kabba to Watford and a certain little illegal clause in the contract. Scroll down on my Small Misdemeanours And The Real Cheats thread and look at the Martin Samuel article to see just how ethical and whiter than white that little crew are.

Not in my building.

The apartment next to mine is being "remodelled" and the last two mornings the "hammers" have started at 9am and continued til early afternoon.

Before you criticise me for being off-topic change your thread title.

But this is a football sub- forum and everyone using it knows who The Hammers are.

Word has it that all will be revealed tomorrow (Thurs)

You can then stick it MCcabe and the creeping bunch of disreputable holes.

All is revealed and Sheffield United have lost their appeal. I have some sympathy for their fans who have been led on so badly by McCabe, but the man himself can stick it.

I bet a lot of Sheff U fans are as fed up as we are about the whole grinding saga. At least the whole thing is over now and they can fully focus on the Fizzy league, as we can on the Premier. I think even the most fanatical Blade probably, acknowledges, deep down that they did not deserve to stay up over the course of 38 games. I'm expecting McCabe to resign soon. :o

I bet , like me, your finger nails are chewed down to the bone mate :D

I heard the Government's Minister of Sport (a Blades supporter) saying on Sunday that he hoped that justice will be done when the arbitration decision comes out. Well it already had been. Perhaps they now can all begin to reflect that justice was done when the couldn't even beat a poor Wigan on the last day of the season and we won five out of our last seven matches.

I really would like to us to get them in some Cup match next season. Just to rub plenty of salt into their weeping (or should that read whining ?) wounds.

And just to round it off. Fulham get relegated and I can't wish bad enough on that utter slimebag, Parry. Except that a double over Liverpool would do very nicely. As we haven't won at Anfield since time immemorial, then I can think of no better time to redress that one.

PS

respect to those Sheffield United supporters who felt embarrassed by this whole fiasco . Unfortunately, I fear that MCbaby may embarrass you further by some other innane attempt to keep on the back pages. European Court of Human Rights. BAWAAAH. :D
