Thailand’s Meteorological Department issued a bulletin today (Saturday) warning people living in 40 provinces across the country, including Bangkok and its peripherals, of heavy to very heavy rain until Monday.

The precipitation is being triggered by the convergence of the monsoon trough looming over Myanmar, northern and north-eastern Thailand and the low pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin, as well as the intensifying south-westerly monsoon over the Andaman Sea.

I really like the rain.

I don't enjoy the blackouts that plague our area.  Lousy infrastructure and just incompetent repairs.

No electricity for 8 hours last night.

Nice.... I like the fresher feeling

The rain is good for everything that ails us.

UK are crying out for it.  There's an export idea to boost Prayuth's retirement pot.

Luckily we've got a generator for the refrigerators.   Hard to sleep without air-conditioning though.

1900hrs here on Pattaya darkside, absolutely nothing, I was so looking forward to a bit of rain.
