He said he saw a group of tourists and the accident happened in front of his eyes.

The 'Up to You' philosophy often comes with consequences. Regardless, good job by the rescue team and hopefully the tourist will mend soon.

Waterfalls are especially dangerous at low water as the surrounding rocks are very smooth and slippery. I slipped on one twenty years ago popped my big toe nail. Taped it down, it was healing well till a big ant bit me and my toe swelled up and popped it again.

Rescue services aided and abetted by the local police and immigration took part in a two hour rescue after a tourist from the Netherlands slipped and fell on rocks at the Phrao Waterfall in Phangnga, southern Thailand yesterday.

I didn't know immigration were on standby for rescue missions?

Stupid is as stupid does, all for a photo op possibly...

Like I said on Monday about the French Tourist who got lost in the jungle!.......

Follow a stream or river downhill until you get to a waterfall...

Stop at the top to take a selfie.....

Take a few steps backward to make sure you are getting a good shot!

Hey Presto.....Problem disappears with disorientated French Man!

Happens a few times a year on Samui...

Same-Same!

Dick-Heads!
