geovalin Posted September 8, 2022 Share Posted September 8, 2022 The number of people classified as poor has gone up by 25 percent in the 10 months from June 2020 to April 2021 in Cambodia due to income decline and job losses following the spread of Covid-19, said a survey by the Asia Foundation. In June 2020, the Ministry of Planning estimated 2.3 million people (560,000 households) as eligible for the Covid-19 Cash Transfer Programme.
