Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, today's play in the Test match between England and South Africa has been called off.

 

Many other sporting events such as golf, horse racing and football have either been cancelled or postponed.

 

Football - Chelsea have appointed Graham Potter as their new manager following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel. Potter has left fellow English Premier League club Brighton to take up the role and has signed a five-year deal with the Blues.

 

In last night's Europa League action highlights included wins for Arsenal, Lazio, Fenerbahce, Ludogorets who beat Roma 2-1 and Real Sociedad who won 1-0 at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

 

In the Europa Conference West Ham came from behind to beat FCSB 2-1 and there were good wins for Villareal and Istanbul Besaksehir who beat Scottish Premier League side Hearts 4-0 in Edinburgh.
