Two teens arrested after discharging weapon in the street in Bangkok

Two teens were showing off to a camera firing a weapon by the side of Pahonyothin Road in Sai Mai district of northern Bangkok. 

 

Netizens immediately called for their arrest.

 

Sai Mai police chief Pol Col Amnat Kalong said that youths aged 16 and 17 were helping them with their inquiries. 

 

The gun was an adapted pipe used to fire balls that the teens got online.

 

Whether it constitutes a gun will require further examination. 

 

For the time being the teens are being charged with creating a public nuisance.

 

They had been responsible for previous trouble in their moo ban but had now taken their antics out into the street.

 

Siam Rath reported that both the miscreants were high on weed at the time.

Teens?! Something that means they are under guardianship of their parents. Start locking the parents up, for their children´s acts. That will definitely make then care more for them and put them on the right track in life.

They need the Singapore cane methodology, whereby the kids cop a bit of a flogging if they are playing up. Better a flogging than life in jail for accidentally killing a rival kid.

agree entirely ...... where are the responsible parents ?  the father should give them a good thrashing.
