Scb debit card accident insurance?

Featured Replies

I just got a new scb debit card "Let's plus" which includes accident insurance.

Would this be a reliable accident insurance, or more a case of  "hope for the best" when something unforeseen happens?

Look at the T&Cs, usually low cover, something like 40k baht per accident, one i have is 250k per accident

Yes.

1. Claim medical bills for an unlimited number of medical treatments of up to 5,000 baht for each accident.

2. More peace of mind with instant coverage of up to 100,000 baht in case of accident.

It works good.  But coverage is pretty low, 30K I believe.  Also if you are 60 or older it doesn't cover you.  If that is the case you need to switch to one of their cheaper cards.  Otherwise you are paying for insurance you can't use.

For Thai citizens I believe the coverage goes up to age 70.
