nickcar
Can anyone tell me if liquids such as wine are allowed on planes flying from Bangkok to Chang Rai? thanks Nick
Jai Dee
It would depend on your carrier/airline. According to Nok Air, up to 5 litres of alcohol in retail packaging is permitted per person as both carry-on and checked baggage on domestic flights. sandyf
The only way you could do that is if you can purchase it "airside" but something makes me think there is no duty free in domestic departures. PS. It would be ok in a suitcase. Edited September 15, 2022 by sandyf

No, it would depend on whether you could get through airport security. The policy is no liquids over 100ml.

nickcar
Can the question of liquids such as wine on the airline be be confirmed one way or the other? The airline said very clearly up to 5 L is allowed, somebody has remarked only 100 mL Is allowed by security. What’s the actual situation? Thanks Nick

Thanks Nick We recently flew from DMK to Buriram Wife had a bottle of water in her carry-on bag and when we reached security she had to throw the bottle away. So to take liquids with you on the plane, you have 2 options 1- Put it in the Checked Baggage 2- Buy it after security control Edited September 18, 2022 by MJCM

Freeze it! For some reason security will allow frozen stuff through even if it becomes liquid before flying.
