webfact Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported that the Pak Chong police and rescue services were called to a U-turn on the Mitraphap Highway between KM markers 52 and 53 in the area of Mitraphap City at 1.30 pm yesterday after a collision. A tanker trailer driven by 52 year old Wiwat had collided head on with a Toyota van carrying ten monks on the other side of the road. The tanker was going from Rayong to Korat, the monks from Udon Thani to Nakhon Pathom. Picture: Thai Rath Three other vehicles, a Mercedes and two pick-ups were also involved in the pile-up. The driver of the van, Sirichai, died in Pak Chong Nana Hospital. Ten people were injured. I can't make any sense out of that statement. Surely if he couldn't brake in time he would of hit the vehicle that cut in front of him? 1
