Thai police and medical authorities announced the arrest of three people running fake beauty treatment business without medical qualifications. There were two cases. In the first the authorities went to a beauty clinic in Siam Square, downtown Bangkok, where Phoonsak, 37, was caught red handed. He was not a doctor though he had nursing training and had been a drug salesman. It was discovered that he was just a regular graduate but dreamed of being a real doctor in the beauty industry. He faces three years in jail and a 30,000 baht fine. The second case featured two ladies called Kanya, 37, and Janyamon, 32, who were doing Botox treatments at a condo in Soi 20 Viphavadee in the Chatuchak area of northern Bangkok. Kanya was just a nurse and shouldn't have been doing a surgical procedure while her sidekick did the appointments, reported Daily News.
