Popular Post NoDisplayName
This is for a first annual retirement extension based on 800K in the bank. Made online bookings for today 1:00PM for extension, 2:40PM for re-entry. Took an early bus, concerned about traffic thru Lat Phrao, planned to get the bank statement and copies done before lunch. Bus #150 from Bangkapi Mall area dropped off at the entrance of the immigration soi at 9:45. Arrived at Bangkok Bank downstairs at 10:00, only one number ahead of me. Got bankbook updated with balance forward (no deposit needed) and guarantee letter, done by 10:15. Made copies and then went directly to the L1 counter at 10:30. Told the nice lady I had a booking, she checked my name on the list. Yes, I'm early, but no waiting. Take a seat at #25 to go over documents - TM-30 was requested, printed screenshot from sec 38 app was accepted - then to see the immigration official, again no waiting. . Fifteen minutes to sign and stamp papers, then wait five minutes for name to be called. Visa extension complete at 11:10. Back downstairs for copies. Back upstairs, go directly to the C2 counter at 11:20. Told the nice lady I had a booking, she checked my name on the list. Yes, I'm early, but no waiting. Take a seat, sign some forms, take a photo, go sit outside. Re-entry complete at 11:30. Total time on site: 90 minutes. 2 2

TaoNow
I have been doing retirement extensions like OP at Immo/CW for over ten years and never been asked for a TM-30. Does anyone understand why some folks are still asked for this and some are not?

The io may have asked for TM30. Also at office where they have assistants do doc check some just request TM30. I have similar history to yours. Been here 10 years and for first extension I had a lease. I have never done a TM30. Edited September 27, 2022 by DrJack54

Arrived with 30-day visa waiver, applied for non-O retirement at CW, no insurance. First extension of stay. No lease in my name. Had gf's rental contract, ID card and tabian ban, and statement from her confirming I live at same address.
