At least 20 people have been killed in a mass shooting in a northeastern province of Thailand, a police spokesperson said on Thursday.

“There are at least 20 dead but details were still coming in,” Deputy Police spokesperson Archon Kraitong told Reuters.

 

The gunman, ex policeman is still at large after the attack in Nong Bua Lamphu, in the north-east of the country.

Awful. There's a wide proliferation of unlicensed guns and some unhinged people too in Thailand, not as many as in the USA, but this feels like a Hollywood nightmare.

 

Let's hope they'll arrest the culprit soon before he commits worse.
