Parents warned: Two arrests of men preying on underage boys by selling pornographic clips

Officers of the crime suppression division acting on warrants announced the arrest of two men preying on boys under the age of 18 in a pornographic video clip ring.

 

Arrested outside an address in Petchkasem Soi 48 in Bang Waek, Phasi Charoen, Bangkok were 24 year old Worawuth or "Toei" and Sutheewat of "Ball", 28.

 

They are charged with conspiracy to profit by child pornography.

Along with others Siam Rath reported that the men persuaded "attrractive" boys under the age of 18 to submit video clips of themselves.

 

Via Twitter posts that were followed by 400,000 people these clips were then sold to around 800 members who paid 350 baht each for 4 months' access.

 

There was 100,000 baht turnover in the illegal business.

Following the arrest of the men officers of the anti-human trafficking ATPD police searched the residence taking 4 phones with 100s of clips of under 18 boys into evidence.

 

Lt-Gen Jiraphop Phuridech - chief of the CSD urged parents to monitor the online behavior of their children and call 1191 to report criminal activity.

This is not a funny matter at all. These young boys were probably groomed or just naïve and didn’t know that anything they did would be put out there for dirty bastards to look at. It can have horrible mental consequences and lead to even worse abuse. Any perpetrators of young boys or girls should be punished hard. There should also be more open discussions with children about all forms of child sex abuse and the ways these pedophiles work. Too many kids fall for this and will be scared for life.
