Report Russian Prankster Transferred to Philippine Jail Amid Legal Battle
Russia doesn't want him, although, sure, ship him here and directly to the Ukrainian front would be an idea. Not a US citizen, a U.S green card holder and with Trump's aggression toward illegals, he might end up.....on the Ukrainian front. Lets hope 10 years in Philippine prison teaches dickweed some manners. What a douche. -

Health Thailand Battles Covid Surge with 12,000 Cases in a Single Day
Given how anti-foreigner the Thai government has become, it wouldn't surprise me. They are incrementally making it more difficult and more troublesome to visit Thailand. How many people are deciding to visit elsewhere because of all the changes and requiring a vaccine certificate would be a significant disincentive. -

Thanks for that explanation but I thought it was because Israelis were the goodies and ALL the others were the baddies. -

Will there ever be a safe vaccine?
Yet another example of misuse of Google! "So you play Russian roulette every day and think you're invincible because the gun hasn’t fired yet? That’s not science, that’s luck and bad logic. Tetanus is rare because of widespread vaccination and basic hygiene — not because it's harmless. You're not proof it's safe; you're just one of the lucky ones… so far." -

Now, which Asian country has the tastiest rice, mates?
The above personal experience is interesting. Certainly Basmati rice is "lower" GI levels, not "no" GI levels. I like cooked cauliflower as a vegetable. But I also tried some restaurant's cauliflower "rice" here lately, and thought it was tasteless and left a bad (like sawdust) feel in my mouth, so not a big fan of that. Lately, as an alternative to rice, I've been eating red lentils pasta which is available from Tops markets here under the San Remo brand, although Tops also has their own cheaper "Tops Choice" brand, but that actually is a combo of pasta made from Thai brown rice flour (which I'd be trying to avoid), chickpeas and some other ingredients. I really like the chickpea and lentils pastas that I've had here as alternatives to rices. Lentils alone are very good from a health and nutrition standpoint. Though when I feel like I need or want rice, I'm sticking to either MBK Thai riceberry or some imported mixed grain (wild rice, brown rice, red rice) varieties from the U.S. What do you mean by "plant pastas"?
