Pattaya authorities encouraged citizens to use a hotline for garbage collection and exchange garbage for free fertilizer.

Pattaya deputy mayor Manoch Nongyai invited residents to bring large pieces of garbage to the garbage disposal site on Soi Three on Sukhumvit Road in exchange for free organic fertilizer. The site is manned 24 hours a day.

Also, for those who want to have the garbage collectors collect garbage at their houses, they can call the 1337 hotline or message this Facebook page for more convenience.

This garbage company has been the best one we’ve had throughout the years. So much better and cleaner job done than the old green garbage company.

That is a point... haven't really seen (or rather smelled) the garbage trucks for a while. Used to pass them regular on the railway line Rd, and see them coming and going from the dumping place near Hwy 36.
