What part of this do you not see. Putin has illegally annexed 4 new regions, 2 of which were never even mentioned before. Zaporizhzhia which he does not even control the main city and has a 75% Ukraine population and Kherson which again he does not fully control which has an 85% Ukraine population.  He’s not there to liberate the ethnic Russians. the only war monger here is Putin.

I for sure agree with that, I feel really sorry for them, I actually have a couple of Russian friends who are really decent folks, I also feel for those almost 60,000 Russians who are no longer alive because of one mad idiot called Putin, history has had a few of them, lets not get into the Ukraines who have lost their lives and had their homes destroyed - none of which would have happened if mad dog Putin hadn't sent his military across the border into a sovereign country

 

what this war has shown is the pile of junk the Russian military is and they are not even facing the full military might of the west not even 2% of it, it's just so sad that these lives have been lost, for what ?

I'm aware of violent separatist movements in some Eastern oblasts that Putin has incited and fueled.

Those are all in Ukraine territory

Yes and no. China unless they have a revolution is intent on eventually taking Taiwan. They were never going to be as reckless and foolish as Putin who has really lost the plot invading Ukraine in the first place. They are very patient.

I love my "favorite neighborhood Russian" NFKRZ now in exile in Tblisi. Not to mention the up and coming Zack the Russian also in exile in Tblisi. Or the amazing and brave founder of the 1420 youtube channel Daniil  (street interviews with Russians about the war, etc.) last seen in Rotterdam.

So many Russian people are amazing even though in some sense all share at least some collective guilt for their government. 

But it is a crime to be a Russian war criminal.
