Russian President Vladimir Putin has said there is no need for more massive strikes on Ukraine, days after the heaviest bombardment of the country since the war began.

He said most designated targets of the strikes had been hit, adding that it was not his aim to destroy Ukraine.

A couple of missiles to the center of red square might make putin rethink his plans....

Putin trying hard to spin. Fact is that he has used up to 70% of missiles in his arsenal and most failed to hit the targets or intercepted. No strategic targets were hit. Created some potholes on roads and destroyed residential buildings & nothing of strategic military significant. Russia military incompetence in full display. Myth of the mighty red army is just a myth. Russia will not stand a chance in a war with the NATO forces with their modern and high precision military hardwares

He's mobilised far more than that - counting the ones who have mobilised themselves across various borders.  And, many of the ones he's conscripted have been permanently immobilised.
