Some 150 fish farmers are affected in the worst case in 10 years. About 500 tons of fish have died and many more have escaped their enclosures. Losses are in the region of 50 million baht to businesses in Koh Samrong and Klai Khiang sub-district. What's that, about $1.3 million dollars ? I really can't see a Thai fish farm being worth that, even with life stock.
