Popular Post snoop1130
The Cannabis Bill, which has been reviewed by the House Scrutiny Committee, addresses all the concerns raised by both the Democrat and Pheu Thai parties, said Suphachai Jaismut, head of the committee and a party-list MP for the Bhumjaithai Party. He said that the committee had thoroughly reviewed the controversial Bill and addressed concerns over the ease of access to cannabis for recreational purposes by youth. He claimed that the committee had taken some provisions from the Liquor, Cigarettes and Kratom Act and modified them for inclusion in the Cannabis Bill. Popular Post DeaconJohn
Just base new cannabis legislation on existing alcohol and tobacco laws. No need to reinvent the wheel. Don't play into the hands of the corrupt drug warriors and re-criminalize ganja. They want those revenue streams to start flowing again. 2 1 2
Popular Post IAMHERE
I think the controls on alcohol do little to keep alcohol out of the hands of youth. The controls do make it inconvenient to adults though and stores too. 1 1

They don't prevent misuse, but they make it more difficult.

I searched extensively yesterday, couldn't find anything, even leaks or partials. I've "heard" that there will be no marketing, social media promotion allowed, as is the case with alcohol. Age restriction of 20 or older. Online sales will be restricted entirely, or possibly tightly controlled with proof of age - this is an open issue. Haven't heard anything about time of day restrictions. There were some rumblings about the balance of controls between recreational and medical use. Time may run out, either in the normal parliamentary session, or if Parliament is dissolved. Which would be a good thing I think?
