BANGKOK, Oct 26 (TNA) – About 100 policemen raided a building in Charoen Rat area of Sathorn district and found a lot of foreigners and narcotics.

 

Detective, metropolitan, immigration and forensic police searched the building where there were about 20 karaoke rooms and a storage room that kept several hundred packs of ketamine and “happy water” drugs.

 

There police found 237 people, mostly Chinese, as well as 29 Thai workers and Cambodians.

Or, more likely, did some influential people make a deal with those influential authorities to somehow not notice that place.

The drug called Molly isn’t what most of its users think it is. Many articles online say the drug is “pure” MDMA, the active ingredient in Ecstasy.

Users often talk about the “purity” of taking Molly, as if it’s somehow better; after all, MDMA was originally developed as a medication to treat depression. But today’s Molly is most often not MDMA: In the past few years, the drug has become a toxic mixture of lab-created chemicals, according to the US Drug Enforcement Administration.

Here are nine things everyone should know about this rapidly changing party drug:

 

1. What is Molly?
Someone who buys or takes Molly now is probably ingesting dangerous synthetic drugs that have not been tested and are produced in widely varying strengths. The DEA says that only 13% of the Molly seized in New York state the past four years actually contained any MDMA, and even then, it often was mixed with other drugs. The drugs frequently found in Molly are Methylone, MDPV, 4-MEC, 4-MMC, Pentedrone and MePP.

Given that size of an operation, with many people coming and going and scores of luxury cars parked thereabouts, you'd almost think the local plod would have to be deaf, blind and dumb to not be aware something was going on there...

 

But then again, they don't seem to actually get out and patrol much in their jurisdictions.  I guess that makes things a whole lot easier for them...

The real problem in Thailand is the high officials and/or the please get paid monthly to let these operations stay open until they can go to that Top police and/or the top officials and arrest them for allowing these events to happen Thailand will always stay the same sure they arrest a little people the managers or some of the workers the top officials expect and receive monthly they’re brown envelopes for money and allow those activities to continue simple as that TIT

Yeah, and now they've found conclusive evidence linking meth and similar synthetic chemical cocktail type drugs to Alzheimer disease. So I'm glad I never took the stuff, those that have are probably living with an elevated potential to lapse into an Alzheimer state at any time..
