They don't.

Your conspiracy theory about weighing passengers does not work with travellers like me.

I go to security, airport lounge and then catch the bus to the plane. End of.

LOL, it isn't a conspiracy theory !!!!!!!!

I don't mean as to whether you are weighed or not .

Even if I was wrong about that , it wouldn't make it a "conspiracy theory" .

You are using the words in the wrong place .

A person being wrong about something ISNT a conspiracy theory!!!!!!!

??? Which Samui airport are you at?

I have live here for more than 20 years. Flown 100's of times. Never been weighed.

You don't often notice it , there are weighing machines built into the floor and it looks just like a normal floor .

All the peoples weights are added together at the end of the check-ins , that's why fat people are sometimes removed from the flights before take-off

That must be why they seat my wife aft of the wings while I’m seated over the wings…

…. They mention balance, I always figured they were referring to my wife’s mental state & giving her a break from sitting next to me !!! ????….

…. They weren’t saying balance, they were saying ballast…

a bitter pill to swallow getting on an A380….  ????

You should check out the floor scales when stepping out of the lounge…

… they also budget your food intake based on weight differential…

Drink & eat too much???…. Ever been re-issued with a  new boarding pass at the gate check ?

it’s all about aircraft trim…. ????????????????????

If the weight of handheld luggage would really matter for the planes balance, fat terrorists would just board as a team and midflight rise from their seats simultaniously, and move to one side of the cabin to bring down the plane. No weapons needed.
Damn, now i gave them the idea . . .

Having worked in the aviation industry for over 35 years, you comment is total bullsh!t.

Standard weights are use for pax on all/most airlines around the world.

Agree, I'm also former airline worker, i.e. educated in planning & navigation and C/D theory...
